(veeery roughly based on the tune of Castles in the Air / Don McLean)( a song with also almost completely relevant lyrics, but no point using all his words twice)

If she says I made her cry,
Can you tell her that I told you
Reasons why
I’m not telling her ‘I’ll hold you’
Or giving my
Reply of ‘I’ll scold you’.
My tears are dry,
Bruises on my eye
Are deep blue,
So say my last goodbye,
If she doesn’t clue,
I won’t ever be back by,
That’s the chance she blew.
And so all that’s left is I
Do simply what she forced me to.
So if she asks you why, you can tell her that I cry.
And you can tell her that I told you…
That I’m certain she knows why.
